Getting frustrated won\u2019t do you any good (and could actually make it <em>harder <\/em>to adjust to your new smile). If you don\u2019t feel comfortable trying to work around a lisp in front of other people, don\u2019t sweat it. You can read out loud to yourself or record yourself talking in a private setting. However you choose to do it, make sure you carve out some time in your schedule to practice using your new dentures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Denture Adhesive<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, there is a product you can use to help keep your dentures in place, which is particularly useful for those who have never had to wear dentures before. But it should be used <em>sparingly<\/em>. This product is called denture adhesive, and there are three main types to choose from: creams, strips, and gels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rest assured, the problem doesn\u2019t have to do with quality or effectiveness. It\u2019s that most denture adhesives contain zinc, one of the vitamins it is possible to have too much of in your system.
